The North. Auckland Farmers’ Cooperative Co. Ltd. reports: There vtes a fair yarding of stock at Kaikohe yards on Friday. Buyers were present from the Whangarei district and good quality cattle, both steers,-cows and heifers, were in keen demand. Practically everything changed hands under the hammer and the range of prices was as follows: —Fat cows, £2 11/ to £3 16/; 'forward bullocks, to £4 19/; 3-year-old steers, £3 10/ -to £3 19/; 2-year steers, to £2 11/; good quality shorn cows and heifers, 35/ to £2 11/; forward conditioned store cows, mixed colours, 15/ to 30/; fair quality Jersey heifers, 20/ ..to 25/; other sorts, 10/ to 17/.; 2-tooth wethers (shorn), to 16/2; ewe hoggets (small), 18/7; fat ewes, 10/ to 16/; dairy cows and heifers, 20/ to £2 10/.
