BRITISH EXPONENTS. TASMANIANS OUTPLAYED. (Received 9 a.m.) LAUNCESTON, November 28. The British amateur golfers played here today in beautiful weather. Results were;— M. Scott and J. McLean (Britain) beat Len Nettlefold and R. T. Brown, 5 and 4; I. G. Garnett and D. Bourn (Britain), beat Peter Brown and G. E. Davis, 4 and 2. Scott beat P. Brown, 2 and 1; McLean beat R. T. Brown, 1 up; Bourn beat Davis, 5 and 4; Garnett beat Nettlefold, 3 and 2.
