(Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 9. • The visiting American professional golfers, showing remarkable accuracy in a high wind, won three foursomes against Australia at the Lake course today, in an international contest. Results are: K. Laffoon and Craig Wood (America) defeated W. Bolger and J. D. Spence, 5 and 4. Paul Runyan and Harry Cooper (America) defeated R. Stewart and V. S. Richardson, 6 and 5. Densmore Shute and Leo Deigel (America) defeated E. Naismith and J. H, Cohen, 7 and 6. The Americans, who outclassed their opponents, were rarely off the fairway, and covered the pins with their seconds. Laffoon and Wood played dazzling golf. The singles will be played tomorrow.
