TAKAHUE DANCE

The Takahue Native Women’s Institute held a dance in the hall last Saturday evening. Music was supplied by a Maori orchestra from Pamapuria, with extras by Mr S. Yates, of Takahue. Mr S. Powell was M.C. A competition for a turkey was won by Mrs ,T. Rickit. and the spot waltz by Miss L. McCullough and Mr A. Crene. The Native Institute in Takahue has only recently been formed and the funds thus raised will help the organisation considerably.
