LUXURY IN THE AIR
WORLD’S LARGEST FLYING BOAT. FRENCH ENTERPRISE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, November 8, The largest flying boat in the world is nearing completion at Toulouse. It is for the transatlantic services. It is over 100 ft long and has a wing span of 160 ft. It has a cruising speed of 150 miles per hour, with six engines each of 850 horse-power. It is constructed almost entirely of metal, and will carry 70 passengers. There are a dozen de luxe cabins, each with two bunks.
