FAREWELL EVENING. A very enjoyable social evening was given in Miss Pelita’s studio on Thurs'day evening, by Mrs Gribble (grandmother), and Mrs S. Fulljames and Mrs J. Hamilton (aunts), to Mr J. Gribble, who, with two friends, Messrs .y. Hawsborough and F. L. Foy, is returning to Hawera. Musical items were given Miss Hirtzel and Mr Dalziell and dances by Mrs 1 and Miss L’heey, About 60 guests were present and, in addition to the various items, the evenwas spent in dancing. -
