PROTECTION AGAINST GAS
BIG DEMAND FOR MASKS. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, July 00. The Paris correspondent of “The Times” states that there is such a great civilian demand for gas masks that the authorities, in order to prevent exploitation of the public, have issued .regulations for their sale, whereby all gas masks must be approved by the War Office,
The masks are accompanied by instructions for use. The makers must renew perishable parts when they become defective.
