NOT MUCH TROUBLE
CITY DOWN PIPIWAI,
City did not have much trouble in beating Pipiwai, and came home victors by .19 points to 3. It was an uninspiring game, which, however, was marked by a couple of unpleasant incidents, culminating in two Pipiwai men, being ordered o IT. City’s tries were scored by Shopherd and Barrett, Rons converting both, in addition to landing tw’o* free kicks. Kerr also turned a penalty to account. Tapper scored for Fipiwai, going over in the corner, for an unconverted try.
