Quotations were:—Fat steers, £2 IP/- to £-t 2/-; fat cows, £.l 2/- to £2 .17/-; forward steers, £2 ">/- to £2 .10/-; yearling Shorthorn steers, £1 to £1 5/-; 20montlis steers, £1 2/(1, £1 fi/- to £1 7/0; 2-year-old steers, £1 10/-, £1 IS/-; store wethers, Ki/S; ewe lambs, 14/S; wether lambs, 12/11; mixed sex lambs (smalll, 8/2; fat ewes, 12/0 to 10/-.
