LEAGUE FOOTBALL
TOMORROW’S PLAY. Two senior and two junior games arc billed for decision under the aegis of the Northland Pugby League tomorrow. The star attraction will be the meeting of City and Whaka-Waro at Kensington Park. Both teams are as yet unbeaten, and tomorrow’s decision will promote either to the top position. Both sides play spectacular football, and it should be an exhibition well worth seeing. At Hikurangi, Kensington will try conclusions with the local thirteen. Supporters of the tow r u side anticipate that they will follow up their previous week’s good display with a win, but Hikurangi are right out to open their winning account. This should also be a first-class exposition. The curtain-raiser to the latter game will bring together Onerahi and Whaka-Waro juniors at 1.45 p.m. This should also serve to provide a fine day’s football for the many Hikurangi League enthusiasts. At Portland, the cement city juniors will try conclusions with Kamo. This should be another game to attract interest. Kensington’s 1.1 will be selected from the following players. —Pico (2), Cowan, Caldwell, T., P., and B. Pitman, P. Paki, Ball, Tito, McMahon, Whitelaw, Bentley, Connelly, Hangon, P. Pirihi, Fyfe, .Abercrombie.
