SUPERVISION OF PLANES. AUSTRALIAN PRECAUTIONS. (Received 12.30 p.m.) CANBERRA, This Day. Stringent regulations have been framed by the Commonwealth Department of Health to obviate the introduction of infectious diseases by means of aeroplanes and airships, particularly from the East. Pilots must notify the time of their arrival and produce a certificate showing that passengers are free from infectious disease, also that aeroplanes have been sprayed at the last port. Passengers must also produce a certificate that they have been successfully vaccinated, and give an understanding to notify the Health Dcpaitment if they become sick within IS davs after arrival.
The regulations will not apply to Now Zealand.
