WIN FO R NORTHLAND

MAUXOATUPOTO DEFEATED

Visiting Manngaturoto on Wednesday night, the Northland Wrestling Flub was successful in capturing the Non KelhyFnp, which was won by Mannga taroto at the recent carnival in the Town Hall. The club won by two bouts to one, one match being drawn. The hall was packed, and Hie wrestling exciting and entertaining. Results were E, Baigent, list (Northland) defealed B. Cullen, list (Man ngahiroto) by falls gained in the second and third rounds. Baigent made the pace too hot from the outset, throwing his man all over the ring with a series of hcadlocks. Both the falls resulted from body presses following hcadlocks.

N. Kokich, 10,si (Northland) heat M, Schick, O.S (Manngaturoto) by falls gained by body presses in the first and second rounds. Kokich was too scientific for his opponent, and finished the match earlv.

D. Wise, !M (Northland) drew with Harding, Nil! (Manngaturoto), no fall being recorded in three rounds of clevei- and scientific mat work.
