SENTENCE REDUCTION WASTED. (Received 11.20 a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. While the Court of Appeal at Rockhampton' was reducing the sentence of dames Bate from five years to 2 years for burglary, Bate escaped from the local gaol. He was not recaptured last night.
