MOTOR-BOAT EVENTS. (Per Press Association. —Copyright.) WANGANUI, This Hay. The ninth annual river carnival was held by the Wanganui Motorboat Club under ideal weather conditions on Salurday. Results were: — Outboard Handicap.—Sea Dog (Wai tara) 1, Pug (Auckland) 2, Renwood (Wellington) 3. Boyd Memorial Handicap. —Cyclone 1, Hinemoa 3, Brendon 3. Speedboat Handicap.—Bott (Auckland) .1, Miss Wanganui 2, Spitfire 3. New Zealand Outboard Championship.—Pug (Auckland) 1, Bee .Tax (Wellington) 2, Sea Dog (Waitara) 3. Helean Cup Handicap, of 10 miles. — Texaco Chief 1, Sea Dog 2. Interprovincial Outboard Handicap. -—Bee Jax 1, Sea Dog 2, Pug 3.
