CALL TO MINISTER

DECISION ENDORSED.

(Per Press Association.—Copyright.} WELLINGTON, This Day.

The attitude of the Rev. Arthur Roberts Howie, of ( St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, toward a call from the Melbourne Church, was explained at a meeting of the congregation. Mr Howie, said the call was a unanimous one and Melbourne presented a great sphere of service. Personally he did not want to go, but felt that he ought to do so.

The congregation passed a resolution regretfully concurring with Mr Howie’s decision if he felt it his duty to accept the call.
