STRATOSPHERE MEDIUM. (Received 0 a.m.) LONDON, February 3. “Wo are convinced that the future of air transport lies in the stratosphere, and, undeterred by the disaster of the balloonists In the Sirius, wo are planning yet another great stratosphere flight in May,” said Professor Prokofiielf, in a talk with the Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Express” by telephone from Moscow. The professor was a member of the crew of the balloon which reached an altitude of 111 miles in October. He said a now form of balloon would be used in the next attempt to avoid a repetition of the Sirius tragedy.
