Details: First round. —Kokieh, Telfer, Morrish, Piggott (Whangarei) 19, beat Chihnan, Gower, Williams, Brewis (Portland), 16. Second round.— Piggott 25, boat Rumimins, Campie, Williams, Graham (Russell), 16. Third round —Brewis 19, beat Graham 16. Whangarei having won two matches, won the centre section. Hikurangi did not send a team. The final for the banner will be played on the Dargavillc Club’s greens on March 17 between the winners of the Northern and Southern sections, Whangarei. and Kensington (holders of the banner).
