MAORI EXPIRES
INJURED IN COLLISION (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) HAWERA, This Day. Rakci Worn, of Okaiawa, died in Hawera Hospital this morning of head injuries received in a. motor collision near Okaiawa on Saturday night. Charlie Waitara, another Maori, was also involved iq the accident, and is in hospital, but his condition is satisfactory. The accident occurred about. 9 p.m. on the Normanby Road, whore a motor cycle w'hich Rakci was riding, w T ith •AVaitara on the pillion, collided w T ith a two-seater car driven by Sydney Cleaver. Rakei suffered concussion, a fractured jaw' and minor injuries. Neither Cleaver nor any of the three young passengers in the ear was hurt. J. Thomas, a .young Eltham man, was severely cut about the head in a motor collision on the same road yesterday afternoon. His condition is satisfactory.
