FAMILY REUNION
WANGANUI TARANAKIS V * WELCOMED. The welcome to the Wanganui and Taranaki party, 200 strong, who arrived from Opna on Sunday morning, was as kindred to' kindred. The ’ reception was in the hands of the East Coast people, who are closely connected with their neighbours to the west, and the usual war dance was supplanted by manifestations of a more genial character, with the toas holding green leaves instead of kiokios.
