TENNIS AFFAIRS, A meeting of the committee of the Piikepoto Tennis Club was held at the ■ residence of Mr A. W, Masters on Wednesday evening. The remaining accounts owing on Ihe recent function were passed for payment, and a. survey of the club’s finances revealed a very satisfactory credit balance. Tentative arrangements were made for the holding of another cabaret dance in the near future, in aid of the Mangonui Hospital Fund, and it was resolved to seek the co-operstion of the Hospital Committee to ensure the function being successful. Arrangements were made for working bees to continue operations on the partially completed court, and it is confidently anticipated that one court * will be ready for -play within the next month.
