DEVELOPMENTS at waihi. (Special to "Northern Advocate.'*) WAIHI, This Day. There is an interesting- announcement in the Waihi Goldmining Company’s progress report to the effect that a reef has been intersected at 347 feet in the,Royal south-east prospecting cross-cut from No. 6 level in the Grand Junction area.- This points to the ore body being identical with the. lift, lode met with recently in the drive west from the main crosscut. As -the dip of both makes of ore is northerly, it seems probable that the Royal proper is now in ihand, and if further investigation proves this to be the case, it is quite possible that an extensive run of payable ore will be opened up.
