DEATH OF MRS BOYLE
EVIDENCE AT INQUEST.
CPer Press Association.—Copyright.) CHRIST CHUR CH, This Day. V A verdict of accidental death hy drowning was returned by the coroner, Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M. at the inquest yesterday into the death of Mrs Rosa Boyle, of Pleasant Point, South Canterbury, who disappeared after bathing in the Waiau River last Friday, and whoso body was discovered yesterday about 15 miles down stream. Deceased's husband, Mr A. P. Boyle, stock agent, gave evidence that last Thursday his wife and he were bathing with others at Marble Point, Waiau River.. Witness and deceased bathe'd there next day. After a bathe she walked away and he did not see her again. It was possible she had slipped on a rock, and, as a result, fallen into the stream.
