I On the .Sydney Stock Exchange today the market generally was steady. Colonial Sugars again moved upward. The principal feature was the writing down of most gold issues. This was due to the sharp fall in the price of gold in London. Morning sales included: Commonwealth 4 per cent bonds: 1941, 3950, L 100; 195.4, £lO5 2/0; 1955, £lO5 10/; 1957, £lO5 15/.
