WHANGAREI CRICKET
MANAGEMENT MEETS,
MATCH FOR THURSDAY REPS,
The Management Committee of the Whangaroi Cricket Association met last evening. A letter was received from the single men’s camp at Nnkutawhiti asking the association for a donation of old gear. The secretary was instructed to reply that the association wore not the owners of any gear, but some of the elubs might be approached on the matter.
It was decided to franco] all matches on race days, November 9 and 11, The Thursday reps, will moot a AAGiaugarei B team at the 'Reclamation on Labour Day, the latter side to consist mainly of colts. Permission was also granted the Railways and the P. and T. to play a match, which is to become an annual affair, on No. 3 wicket on the .same dav.
