PEDIGREE BULLS, COMBINED BREEDERS’ OFFERING BALE AT , CLAUDELANDS. (Special to “Northern Advocate.") HAMILTON, Tills Day. At the' opening of • the .pedigree bull sale bold at Claudelands yesterday under the auspices of the Waikato Combined Breeders and Auctioneers ’ Association, there was a. good attendance. The sale is ’ being conducted by the combined auctioneers of the Waikato, and the catalogue consists of over 500 entries. It is anticipated that the sale will last three days. Ayrshires were offered flrst, and met with a good demand, the average price being 1(51-3 guineas. This was the best price averaged at this sale since 1928. The top price of 29 guineas was pa id by Ai r ,f. A, Black, of Papakura, for a two-year-old, Thirdpart La Ringleader, sold on account of Mr W. C. Wallace, o’f . Cambridge. Mr A. 11, Clements, of Rototuna, received 241 .guineas for Somerset Prince Charming from Mr C. .I. Duncan, of Pukerimu. * Milking slmi ■thorns brought aip. to I 141 guineas, Avhich was paid for Hill- 1 grove Duke 112th, sold by Messrs W. Hill and Sons, of Upper Atiamuri, on

.account of Messrs Eobinson 8r05.,; of Patorangi. There was an improved demand;for [Friesians, the best price being. 25 guineas, which was paid by MrM.’E. Inglics, of Eureka, for Messrs Whewell Bros. (Tamahere) Bracken Korndyke Galatea. Messrs Whewell Bros.’ Bracken Duke Korndyke was sold to Mr T. Eiddell, of Gordonton,;. guineas. Other prices realised Tor Friesians were 11 to 17 guineas. There was a large offering ; of Jersey yearlings and two-year-olds.
