DEATH OF LITTLE CHILD

AXE AND SCISSORS USED? mother under arrest, (Special to ''Northern Advocate.”) PAEROA, This Day. The five-year-old child of Mr and Mrs Norman* C. Bushy, of Cullen St., was found terribly injured this morning about II o’clock and died shortly afterwards.

The child’s mother, Mrs Daisy Busby, was found with her throat cut. She was arrested and is being taken to Auckland by a police car. The child, a. boy named Barry,- was taken under the house and terrible wounds are believed to have been caused by an axe and a pair of scissors.

The woman’s husband is. a member of the N.Z. Permanent Staff and is attached to the Hauraki Regiment at Paeroa. They have lived in Paeroa for a number of years. There are two other boys in the family, aged .17 and 10 years.
