Mr. G. Ward Price, who is acting as correspondent with the French forces in Morocco, says the French arc hindered by Berber sharp-shooters concealed in mountain eaves, the storming of which has entailed five days of continuous fighting. The French now have reached steep hills commanding the lower slopes of Mt. Baddu, the formidable lasM; stronghold of the Berbers. Airmen report the concentration of Berbers around the wells. Bach tribe fights desperately in the blazing sun to defend its own little track of barren country and scrubby herds. To date 3500. Berbers have surrendered. The men are, fierce and thd Women swarthy, handsome and tatooed. They have been placed in a concentration camp.
