The following officers were el? 1 led at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Southdown Society:—President, Mr H< Burrell (Feilding) j vice-presidents, Messrs W. J. Gimblett (Hastings' and J. Brooks (Brobkside). The retiring president, Mr H. J. Andrew, of Methven, in his address, said the remarkable advance in the places for sheep recently was an. indication that sheep owners could look forward to better times and could carry on confidently.
