BURGLARY CHARGE

ACCUSED IN HOSPITAL. BULLET WOUND IN BOOT. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) DUNEDIN, Tit is Day. Limping badly, Raymond Theodore Padman, aged 24, the second accused in connection with an alleged burglary at a Wimpeuny garage, appeared in the Police Court on a breaking and entering charge yesterday and was remanded. Although the police are reticent, it is understood that, when finally arrested on Wednesday \ night, after breaking away, Padman had a bullet wound in his foot from, a shot fired from a pursuing officer. He was in hospital, and it is reported that a bullet was removed from his foot.
