BIG CONFLAGRATION
THREE BUILDINGS IN GORE. EARLY MORNING OUTBREAK. (Per Press Association.— Copyright.) GORE, This Day. Fire extensively damaged three buildings in the main street at Gore early this morning. The outbreak occurred in Mr R. W. Graves' book exchange, which was completely destroyed. Mr A. A. Rose's bootshop on an. adjacent site was extensively damaged, the stock being practically mined, Air W. Turnbull's saddlery establishment adjoining was partially damaged by fire and water.
The shops occupied by Messrs Rose and Graves were owned by Mr Rose. The buildings were insured for £SOO, and Air Rose’s stock for £2200. Graves' stock was not insured. Air Turnbull's insurance is not known.
