WHANGAREI DENTAL CLINICS
EXTENSION OF TREATMENT,
TO CHILDREN UNDER .SCHOOL AG F. Dental treatment of i-hildren attending the Whangarei, llnra Horn and Whan Valley Schools has now been firmly established on a sixmonthly revisionary basis. The Dental Clinics Committee lias decided to widen the scope of this excellent service to embrace children under school age, from four years old and upwards.
The District Denial Superintendent slated last week, in Whangarei, that the raising of the school age had been a big blow to the service. Decay progressed tremendously between the ages of five and six, and many teeth had now to be extracted which could have been saved had the child come forward earlier. The extended service will commence on Thursday and Friday afternoons of this week -in the Horn Hora School clinic, and parents are urged to present their children for treatment.
A charge of 2/0 per year has been fixed, payable in advance, which entitles a child to two complete treatments at. a six-monthly interval. Tickets and full particulars are obtainable from Air R. AV, Parker, c/e Timowoll and King’s Mamin Road shop. It has been further decided that children shall attend the clinic in their school district. There!',ire all children living in the area- bounded by the railway line to Rust Lane and thence to the AVestorn Hills are eligible to attend at the Hora Horn School Clinic.
