Sir Thomas Sidey is an inmate of a private hospital in Dunedin. His health is causing some concern.
Tlu> appointment is announced of Air. 0. N. Campbell, Commissioner of Crown Lands for North Auckland, as Small Farms Commissioner. lie will enter on his now duties immediately.
Mr G, A. Pascoe, of ■Christchurch, member of the Development of Industries Committee, has been appointed chairman of the committee in plaee of Mr J. P. Luke, who recently resigned.
The announced transfer to Kaikoho of Air F. Moresby, a member of the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, has been deferred in the meantime, and Mr Mos#.sby will not bo leaving Whangarei.
Air K, J. Uns.ted, who for 10 years lias been attached to the Auckland office of Chas. Haines Advertising Agency, Ltd., has been promoted to the Alelbourne staff of the organisation.
Bishop Liston, who became ill after the opening of the Alarist Brothers ’ Novitiate at Claremont, near Timarn, and received hospital treatment in Christchurch, returned to Auckland by the limited express this morning.
