COLLISION AT INTERSECTION

WATER STREET MISHAP. OCCUPANTS UNINJURED. The Water Street-Central Avenue intersection was the scene of a collision between two cars shortly after 9 o’clock this morning. Each vehicle contained two occupants, none of w T hom was injured. One car, how’ever. was considerably damaged. This was a Chevrolet fiveseater tourer, being driven by Mr. J. Osborne, a travelling agent of the T. and G. Mutual Life Assurance, down Central Avenue and across the intersection into Walton Street, wlien it came into contact with the .Aucklandbound service car proceeding along Water Street. The latter vehicle received only minor damage and wras able to proceed on its journey.
