North Auckland Power Board.—J. A. Ale Lean. NAPIER COMMISSION. TO CEASE NEXT MONTH. (Per Press 1 Association.—Copyright.) NAPIER, This Day. Following the decision of the Government that the commission in control of Napier ceases next month, an election will be held, as previously, for the Mayoralty. Air J. Vigor Brown, flic sitting Alayor, is opposed by Air C. Alorse, chairman of the earthquake relief committee. There are 24 candidates for 12 seats on the council.
