of melted butter. Mix to a smooth dough with sufficient milk. Add { eup of seeded raisins and the grated peel of J- an orange. Roll out thin, an.l sprinkle over with chopped citron and grated orange peel. Bake in a moderate oven about 15 minutes.
Marrow Ginger. —Cover nib peeled, seeded, and cubed marrow with the* same amount of powdered Giigar. Leave until the sugar is syrup. Then add grated rind and juice of two good lemons, Ho/ best lump ginger, and a few cayt nne pods. (These last two in a muslin bag). Hoi 1 one honi, then remove muslin bag, and mix in a wineglass of whisky or brandy. Pot, amt tie down.
