EXPANSION OF CURRENCY

AX AMERICAN ADVOCATE, (Received 0 a.m.) WASHINGTON, April I.'). The chairman of the Banking Committee of the House of Representative*, Air H. B. Stegall, told journalists today that he favoured currency inflation. He expressed tin* belief that if such a proposal is brought on to the flffor of the House it will he passed. “T think there is a general feeling lhal there ought to be an expansion of currency,” said Afr Stegall, “I favour some method of expansion. I hope we are going to have some inflation this session. There are many ways in which the currency may be expanded, but it all remains to be worked out.”
