MILL ROAD GARDEN.

A-sight-worth seeing just now is Mr George Rush’s garden in Mill Road. His . pansy beds, containing over 50 varieties of. high-grade plants, are in full bloom, and the wide range and richness of the colouring make a most attractive showing. Not only are the | blooms rich in colour, but they arc very large in size and are growing in groat profusion. The. use of plenty -of farmyard manure and ibonodust have assisted materially in producing theso line blooms and the plants which bear them. Mr Rush’s sweet peas also make a lovely picture. A long row supported by about 8 feet of wire netting, well sheltered from the southerly winds, is laden with rich blooms -of every hue, A visit to Mr Rush’s garden is well worth while, especially as it gives him pleasure to show his -blooms to those who are- interested. .
