Free transportation to the theatres from all parts of the district, a penny bank for the benefit of children. attending the theatre separately controlled by a board of trustees, and a. perfect hearing aid for the deaf. AH of Avhioh have materially increased Hie efficiency of the theatre service. A cooling system capable of withdrawing 5000 cubic feet of Avann air from the theatre per minute is uoav operating in the Regent Theatre. This Avill undoubtedly be a boon during the summer mouths. On page seven ofthis paper will be found a complete list of attractions to be shown at the Regent and Town Hall during the Christmas and Ncav Year week, and it is suggested that this be retained for easy reference during the holiday period.
