ALLEGED THEFT

INSURANCE EMPLOYEES CHARGED.

Two employees of the Alliance Insurance Company, Limited, were charged on Saturday with- the theft of £l6o, the property of the company. They wore Clarence Alfred Palmer, aged 30, and Walter Vernon Wiseman,

aged 33. Both were remanded to ap pear on December 22 and bail was allowed.

The police stated that, one of the accused was cashier and the other (’lliof clerk. The amount in the charge was one of several they would be charged with.
