ROPED ARENA. STRIPLING 'BEATS McCORKINDALE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, December IS, On a specially prepared arena, at Johannesburg, Young Stribling (of U.S.A.) beat McCorldndale, the South African boxing champion, on points. McCorldndale early drew blood, but was thwarted by holding and mauling. Stribling was often warned. McCorldndale never looked dangerous, and relied on defence.
