CON.TECTURE AROUSED

(Received 1 p.m.) ADELAIDE, This Day

What is believed to be a new eomet was observed on Friday evening' in Adelaide. It was invisible to the naked eye, but is of the ninth magnitude, in the right ascension, 22 hours fill minutes 111 seconds, with declination to the right 2!) degrees 20 minutes.

The comet is in the constellation of Pisces, which has given rise to the belief that it is Temple’s comet. This comet has not been seen since its discovery in 188(5. Observers have been watching for it.
