Christmas is less than a week away and in many homos in Wliangarei there is the almost certainty of hardship unless assistance is forthcoming. This is the result of distress caused by unemployment. To make happier the lot of such families, the Wliangarei Relief Committee is making an appeal for cash or goods in order that Christmas parcels may be made up and distributed among the needy. Can you help? The smallest contribution will be welcomed. All donations will be acknowledged in the columns of the “Advocate.'’ The Relief Depot in Rust Lane opened on December 17 for the receipt of goods.
