TREND OF BRITISH BILL

In the House of Commons today, Sir Edward Hilton Young, Minister of Health, moved the second reading of the bill embodying the Government’s new housing proposals, which aim at encouraging the building of a smaller type of house by private enterprise, and with the help of building societies to bring to an end the system of subsidies.
