The annual meeting of the Te Awajnntu Racing Club is being held today in beautiful weather. There is a good attendance, and the track is in very fair order. Results: — Pironga Hack Hurdles, of 00 so vs; one mile and a half. —(1) On Top, 0.0 (Burgess), 1; (2) Full Measure, 10.3, 2; (5) Sub-Editor, 9.2, 3. All started. Won by a neck; Sub-Editor three lengths 'behind Full Measure. Time 2.45.
Kihikihi Handicap, of 75 so vs; seven furlongs.—(l) All Humbug, 0.0 (Keesing), 1; (5) Eager Rose, 8.0, 2; (3) Jonathan, 8.0, 3. AH started. Won by a neeb; Jonathan half a length behind. Eager Rose. Time L 27 Waipa Plate, sweepstake of 2 .sovs each, with 70 sovs added; weight-for-age; six furlongs—(4) Wcatliervane, 6.9 (McFarlane), 1; (3) Arawa Rose - , 8.9, 2; (1) Bon Rapide, 7.113, 3. Gaysogne, Illnininclli, To Tana and Arise were scratched. AVon by a length and a half; half a length between second and third horses. Time —1.16. Te Awamutu Cup, of 140 sovs; one mile and a quarter. —(7) Teels, 7.0 (Horne), 1; (0) Trishna, 7.43, 2; (8) Eager Rose, 7.1, 3. Liinoon, King’s Knave and Glen Rata wore scratched. Won by a length; nose between second and third horses. Time —2,7 1-5.
