DELEGATES FROM LOCAL BODIES. INITIAL .MEETING. to “Voi-t Item Advocate-) AUCKLAND, This Day. Delegates to discuss plans for furthering the harbour bridge project with the directorate of the P.ridge Co -pa ay ■wore appointed at the initial meeting ot the -Local Bodies’ Barbour Bridge Committee yesterday. . The chairman of the Waitemata -County Council, Mr W. A. Bishop, was appointed chairman of the commit tee. Other local body ■members present were Mr R. Martin, Mayor of Northcole', Mr G. 'Mills, Mayor of Birkenhead, Mr .1. (Iniuixen, .Mayor of Taknpnna, and M r J. C. Rennie, a mem tier of the .Waitemata County Domicil. The delegates appointed were Messrs Bishop, Mills, Rennie. The meetingwit It the bridge company directors will lake place next week.
