LITTLE ACTIVITY. (.Special to "Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. Proceedings on the Auckland Stock Exchange during the last few days have been somewhat quiet, and only a few sales have been recorded since tho last report. Values, however, are steady. In the case of Government stocks, 51 per cents show a-slight firmness and at this morning’s call buyers increased Iheir offers to £9B. The backing section is still dull. A buyer came in for New South Males, but his offer was marked down to £25. X.Z.’s are still available at £2 0/9, with buyers offering Od loss. Farmers’ Trading shares were on offer, the ordinary at 2/10, A profs., at 14/-, and B profs, at 7/(5. "Wilsons Cements were easier, being available at £1 S/9. Noon Call. At the noon call brokers recorded two sales of Golden Dawns at 5/-, and two sales of Waihi Mines at 18/10.
