BROADCAST FROM; KENTUCKY. (Per Pros'- Association. —Copyright.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The president of the WCKY radio station, Covington, Kentucky, United States, Mr L. B. Wilson, lias sent the following cablegram to the Prime Minister, the lit. Hon. G. W. Forbes: —“ln response to requests from thousands of listeners in New Zealand, WCKY will give a special threehours’ good will broadcast starting on Saturday :lt midnight, December .17 (Eastern standard time). The broadcast -will bring New Zealand messages from President Hoover, the Presidentelect, Mr Roosevelt, the British Ambassador and others. America’s most, famous orchestras will broadcast. Our frequency is 14110 kilocycles.” Mr Forbes has cabled to Mr Wilson the following reply; “The people of New Zealand send cordial greetings to the people of the United States and with them sincerely trust that 19.U1 will bring a substantial improvement in the present world-wide economic conditions. We greatly appreciate the action of WCKY in arranging a good will broadcast.”
