VEHICULAR FERRY CHARGES
REDUCTION PROBABLE. 7 (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland •Automobile Association was advised last evening bv the Devonport Steam Ferry Company, Ltd., that the company was considering a reduction in vehicular ferry charges. The Ferry Company considered that the Harbour Board, which had a fixed toll on every vehicle, should also coi'P tribute to any reduction made, the letter stated. The company would interview the Harbour Board on the malt'-r. Even if the board declined to assist, the company would be able to make some reduction, but naturally a smaller one than would be the case if the board co-operated.
