CHAMBER’S ADVERSE VOTE
HERRIOT PLAN REPUDIATED GOVERNMENT RESIGNS The intimation in yesterday's cable communications that the French Chamber of Deputies would give an adverse vote on the Herriot proposal to pay the December instalment to America, with Reservations, was amply verified when the division was taken, the opposing majority amounting to 215. The result was immediately followed by the, resignation of the Government.
