INCREASE IN OUTPUT. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) STRATFORD, This Day. An increase of lo per cent, in the production of dairy produce throughout the whole Dominion this season was announced by the Prime Alinistcr when speaking at Tangarakau yesterday. “In the last few years,” said the Prime Alinister, “we have been establishing records by gradually adding to the volume of our production. We have been taking more out of the soil by more intensive methods. This shows we have great scope ahead of ns to enable us to increase our production. By increasing production we bring clown our costs, and thus put the country in a. better positron to carry on, even at lower prices. We have to direct our attention to this quarter, so that, we can compote on better terms in the Home market.”

GRADING FIGURES. SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT. WELLINGTON, This Day. The grading figures for the Dairy Di\’ision of the Department of Agriculture for the three months ended October 31, 1002, show an increase for butter at 10.76 per cent, at 28,110 tons (23,321), and for cheese the increase is 13.51 per cent, at 1-1,287 tons (12,587). Compared Avith the corresponding period last year, ami reduced to terms of butterfat equivalent, there is to date an increase of 18.524 per cent, over last A'Car.
